Terms and Conditions:

BET Software Mystery Prize Giveaway Competition

1. Competition Overview

The competition is organised by BET Software. 1.2. The competition will run from 22 November 2024 to 22 March 2025. 1.3. The prize is a Mystery Prize up to the value of R5000.

2. How to Enter

2.1. To enter, participants must:

• Watch any Coding Culture Podcast episode shared by BET Software; and
• Comment under the video with the correct answer to the competition question.

2.2. Only one entry per person will be considered.

2.3. Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, or submitted after the competition closing date will not be considered.

3. Selection of the Winner

3.1. All correct entries will be compiled, and a random draw will be conducted to select the winner.

3.2. The winner will be announced after the competition closing date as specified in Clause 1.2, on BET Software’s social media platforms and/or in the next episode of Coding Culture.

3.3. The decision of BET Software regarding the winner is final and binding.

4. Winner Notification and Prize Redemption

4.1. The winner will be contacted via the platform where their entry was submitted.

4.2. The winner must provide their full name, email address, and physical address within 7 days of being notified, to facilitate prize logistics.

4.3. If the winner fails to respond within 7 days, a new winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.

4.4. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

5. Use of Entries

5.1. By entering the competition, participants grant BET Software the right to use their entries (including their name and competition comment) for marketing and promotional purposes.

5.2. BET Software may publish entries on its social media platforms, website, or any other marketing materials.

6. Eligibility

6.1. This competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.

6.2. Employees of BET Software and the Hollywoodbets Group, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.

7. General

7.1. BET Software reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

7.2. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

7.3. BET Software will not be held responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to late or misdirected entries due to internet or platform malfunctions.

8. Data Protection

8.1. All personal information provided by the winner will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and solely for the purpose of prize logistics.
