You Bring:

  • 5+ years of Unix/Linux experience;
  • 2+ years of Elasticsearch and Kibana experience;
  • Experience building Elasticsearch Clusters, installing plugins, sharing, partitioning, aliases, watchers, etc;
  • Elastic DSL queries experience;
  • Experience configuring and performance tuning large clusters;
  • Understanding of Elasticsearch index configuration options;
  • Working knowledge of Kibana visualization strategies and techniques;
  • Experience in setting up and configuring Grafana/Prometheus;
  • In-depth experience installing, configuring, maintaining Grafana;
  • Experience with data visualization using Grafana;
  • Experience creating Grafana dashboards to display time-series visualization;
  • Enhance existing Grafana dashboards and add new dashboards;
  • Experience working in DevOps and Agile structured organizations;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement highly scalable ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack and ElastiCache solutions;
  • Experience in architecting data structures using Elastic Search and ElastiCache;
  • Build reports using APIs that leverage Elasticsearch and ElastiCache;
  • Good experience in query languages and writing complex queries with joins that deal with a large amount of data;
  • Experience in end-to-end low-level design, development, administration, and delivery of ELK based reporting solutions;
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to analyze requirements, clarify design dependencies, create test plans, support functional and non-functional activities;
  • Represent Team in various vehicle audit-related meetings – planning, scheduling, status, defect review, monitoring, etc;
  • Adapt to change and be open to new ideas and willing to take on new responsibilities;
  • Accept changes to tasks, plans, and procedures to align with the strategic direction of the organization, and appropriately adjust behavior and activities to changing conditions;
  • Make confident, timely, fact-based decisions drawing on a broad range of resources through collaboration with others;
  • Ensure others understand the decision before moving forward;
  • Base decisions and evaluations on a careful and systematic review of relevant facts and information;
  • Search for opportunities to create new ideas and innovate or improve efficiencies wherever possible.
